💼 About This Role

You'll design and test custom electronic assemblies for Atom Computing's quantum computer control system, collaborating with a world-class team. You'll drive board-level design from concept through production for a cutting-edge neutral atom quantum platform. This role offers the chance to shape the hardware for a next-generation quantum computer.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Board-level circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout in Altium Designer
• Prepare technical specifications and review schematics and layout
• Participate in bring-up, verification, and testing of control system hardware
• Develop characterization, verification, and automated test procedures

📋 Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in board-level analog and digital circuit design
• Proficiency with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum/logic analyzers, signal generators)
• Experience with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout

✨ Nice to Have

• Mixed signal instrument design experience
• RF front-end and high speed ADC/DAC design experience
• Familiarity with MicroTCA, PXIe, or similar pluggable standards
