Description

You will develop guidance algorithms and state estimators for autonomous drones, collaborate with flight software and computer vision teams, and validate GNC software through simulation and flight test data analysis. Your work directly shapes the capabilities of scalable platforms on aggressive timelines, contributing to mission success in contested environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering with focus on dynamic systems and control
• 3+ years professional GNC experience, preferably in missile or weapons systems
• Experience with tactical guidance algorithms and target state estimation
• Experience with state estimation and filtering (Kalman, sensor fusion)
• Proficiency in Matlab and Simulink; C/C++ proficiency

Responsibilities

• Develop guidance algorithms (terminal and midcourse) and state estimators for group 1-3 UAV platforms
• Work closely with flight software and computer vision team to define requirements and validate GNC software in simulation
• Review flight test data to verify vehicle performance and evaluate GNC algorithm behavior
• Develop models for functional evaluation of GNC software
