Description

As a Specialty Pharmacy Care Coordinator, you will work with specialty care clinics and the House Rx team to improve the patient experience by completing prior authorizations, sourcing financial assistance, processing pharmacy claims, coordinating medication dispensing and shipping, and acting as a liaison between patients, providers, and pharmacists. You'll help make specialty medications more accessible and affordable.

Requirements

• Mastered core pharmacy technician skills (processing claims, dispensing medications)
• Experience with specialty medication benefits investigation, prior authorization, and financial assistance
• Proficient in pharmacy software (QS1, ComputerRx, PioneerRx, WAM) or EMR systems (EPIC, Cerner, NextGen) or specialty pharmacy systems (Therigy, Asembia1, ScriptMed)
• Familiarity with specialty medications (autoimmune, endocrinology, oncology)
• Pharmacy technician, LPN or similar licensure as required; national CPhT certification preferred
