Description

As a Field Service Engineer at ASM, you will install, maintain, and repair advanced semiconductor equipment at customer sites, leveraging your military technical experience. You'll work with complex systems like vacuum, plasma, robotics, and sensors in a cleanroom environment, supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree
• Military experience with complex mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems
• Experience with avionics, electronics, propulsion, navigation, comms, radar, robotics, or similar
• Ability to work shift schedules supporting 24/7 operations
• Willingness to travel 50-75%

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair ASM semiconductor equipment at customer sites
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and process issues with senior engineering staff
• Deliver responsive, customer-focused service with commitment to safety
• Work in cleanroom environments following strict safety and quality standards
• Participate in continuous improvement and cross-functional problem-solving
