Description

You will take extreme ownership of Technical Data Module development and delivery for the Fury aircraft program, working with engineers and government representatives to produce clear, accurate technical manuals and documentation. Your mission is to make learning how to operate and maintain the system as easy as possible, ensuring contract deliverables are on time and defect-free.

Requirements

• 8+ years generating technical documentation, preferably to Mil-Standards
• 3+ years managing Technical Manual development in a fast-paced Program of Record
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering documentation
• Experience with LORA and MTA to construct S1000D publications
• Experience building DOD-focused content in XML

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and edit S1000D data modules in Siemens Rapid Author
• Manage scope and schedule for all contractual milestones related to Tech Manual Development
• Monitor team progress and provide weekly status reporting to leadership
• Manage risk and communication with government regarding TM development
• Lead, educate and motivate a team of Technical Writers to deliver contract deliverables
