Description

You will design and build intelligent systems that transform how patients and clinicians interact with health data, developing longitudinal patient health views and personalized agentic workflows. This is a hands-on, high-impact individual contributor role in a fully remote environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with significant depth in AI/ML
• Advanced proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience building agentic workflows, autonomous agents, and/or conversational AI systems
• Familiarity with EHR systems, medical records, HL7/FHIR standards, and healthcare data formats
• Experience applying LLMs and generative models for information extraction, summarization, and/or RAG

Responsibilities

• Design and build comprehensive longitudinal patient health views from multiple clinical data sources
• Architect and implement personalized agentic AI workflows for patient outreach and care gap identification
• Integrate AI systems with the GeneDx data warehouse ensuring reliable data pipelines and governance
• Collaborate with product and design teams to build intuitive user interfaces for health data exploration
• Apply generative AI techniques for clinical information extraction, summarization, and conversational interfaces
