You'll build and maintain metadata schemas and taxonomies for DoorDash's global catalog, spanning grocery, convenience, alcohol, and retail. You'll directly impact catalog quality and customer discoverability across international markets.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain taxonomies for product categories and attributes.
• Develop ontology modeling best practices and entity relationships.
• Identify gaps in catalog quality across international markets.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to operationalize taxonomy solutions.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing complex taxonomies or ontologies.
• Experience with taxonomy management tools (e.g., Graphite, PoolParty).
• Master's degree in Library and Information Science, Linguistics, or related field.

• Experience with AI tools like Claude Code or Cursor.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Familiarity with graph-based systems (RDF, SPARQL).
