Description

You will provide technical leadership for the Order Management domain at Stitch Fix, shaping architecture and reliability of checkout, order lifecycle, fulfillment orchestration, and third-party integrations. You'll design resilient distributed systems, drive incident response, and mentor engineers across teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years building and operating large-scale backend/distributed systems
• Strong software engineering experience in modern languages (Golang, Ruby, etc.)
• E-commerce or order management experience preferred
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Track record of leading multi-team architectural initiatives

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve technical direction of Order Management domain
• Design and implement resilient distributed systems with observability and safe rollout
• Establish architectural patterns for partner integrations
• Lead domain-wide initiatives from problem framing to production rollout
• Drive incident response and root-cause analysis
