Description

As an Engineering Manager at Nayya, you will lead the SRE team to build, scale, and maintain a reliable platform. You'll set technical direction for infrastructure and operations, contribute hands-on to design and coding, and drive a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 7+ years in SRE, DevOps, Infrastructure, or related roles
• At least 2 years in people management or team lead capacity
• Proven track record leading and scaling engineering teams in a startup environment
• Proficiency in Python, Ruby, Go, JavaScript, or similar
• Extensive experience with AWS services (VPC, Route 53, ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS)

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing SRE team through hiring, mentoring, and career development
• Define and drive the SRE roadmap aligned with business priorities
• Design and implement highly available systems, establishing standards for IaC, observability, CI/CD, and incident management
• Partner with engineering teams to embed reliability practices including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets
• Own incident management processes including on-call rotations and blameless postmortems
