Description

As a Float Medical Assistant at One Medical, you'll provide venipuncture and clinical support services, handle front-of-house duties, and ensure an exceptional patient experience across multiple offices in the Phoenix market. Your work will help remove barriers to care and improve healthcare accessibility.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of training/externship
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer-centric approach with empathy and focus
• Ability to work in multiple offices within a market
• Self-awareness and drive for feedback and growth

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture services and extended scope duties such as EKGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
• Handle front-of-house tasks including check-in/out, insurance verification, and schedule management
• Maintain high standards of specimen handling, labeling, processing, and tool sterilization
• Contribute to team development through rounding, huddles, and problem solving
• Master technology suite including Slack, G-suite, Zoom, Circulation, RingCentral, and EMR system
