Description

In this role, you will maintain and enhance orbit determination tools and pipelines for collision avoidance and space safety operations of the Starlink constellation. You will develop image processing algorithms, operate surveillance systems, and collaborate with mission operations teams to improve tracking accuracy and ensure safe space operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, physics, computer science, or other STEM discipline
  • Experience in software development using Python or C++
  • Advanced degree or expertise in orbit determination, sequential estimation, and orbital modeling preferred
  • Hands-on experience with sensors, telescopes, astrometry, photometry, and image reduction
  • Proficiency in data analysis techniques and version control systems like Git
