Description

You will negotiate and close catalog acquisition deals with music creators, working with A&R, Underwriting, Legal, and Finance teams to shape acquisition strategy and directly impact creators' financial growth.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in private equity, investment banking, or finance/professional services
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data
  • Understanding of music industry and ability to navigate complex deal structures
  • Experience in opportunity and risk assessment for negotiations and diligence
  • Ability to interpret legal agreements; Bachelor's in Economics, Finance, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Lead and negotiate deals with artists, demonstrating music business knowledge and maintaining client relationships
  • Manage deals end-to-end, collaborating with Head of Sourcing and Sourcing Operations on pipeline and lead generation
  • Support Underwriting and Legal in decision-making, ensuring documentation accuracy and investment committee reviews
  • Develop solutions for A&R challenges related to rights acquisition and implement unique processes to meet timelines
  • Build relationships with artists, managers, and industry stakeholders; track deal points using HubSpot, Airtable, Notion
