Description

As a CNC Programmer at SpaceX, you will use NX CAM to program and optimize CNC machining for Starlink products, working closely with machinists and engineers to improve productivity and manufacturability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 3+ years of CNC programming experience including NX
• Experience with graphite electrode programming
• Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted
• Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift, overtime, and weekends

Responsibilities

• Program CNC parts using NX CAD/CAM/CAE
• Verify NC files and maintain revision control on programs and setup sheets
• Adjust speed and feed parameters for maximum tool life
• Suggest drawing changes to improve manufacturability
• Machine setup and operation to meet production goals
