Description
As an Electrical Design Engineer on Starlink, you'll own the entire lifecycle of hardware enabling global satellite internet—from system design and schematic capture to PCB layout, troubleshooting, and production. You'll work across disciplines to deliver high-reliability electronics for satellites and spacecraft.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or physics
- 5+ years industry experience in circuit design or hardware
- Experience with mixed-signal circuit boards, processors, FPGAs, Ethernet, Serdes, DRAM, I2C, SPI, op-amps, ADCs/DACs, power supply components
- Proficiency in Python, C/C++
- Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed
Responsibilities
- Develop high-reliability electronics for satellites and spacecraft
- Drive system trades, requirements capture, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, debugging, manufacturing, test, and on-orbit performance
- Support hardware through production, satellite integration, and flight
- Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, software, test engineers to deliver integrated hardware
- Challenge assumptions and approach problems with an open mind
