Description

As part of the Build Reliability organization, you will collaborate with teams to drive reliability across manufacturing, test, and flight for the Raptor engine. You'll be the primary contact for hardware concerns, drive systematic improvements, support root cause investigations, and ensure quality validation for flight assemblies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics
• 1+ years in manufacturing, quality, and/or design engineering
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and offsite as needed
• U.S. Person status for ITAR compliance

Responsibilities

• Partner with design engineering, manufacturing, and test teams to create quality hardware validation for flight assemblies
• Develop and validate Lean test and inspection processes, ensuring objective acceptance criteria and consistent quality goals
• Monitor product success through production, test, and delivery using quality tools like FMECA and root cause analysis
• Investigate failures in production, test, and flight; identify root causes to improve reliability of designs and processes
• Contain non-conforming product and guide inspectors, technicians, and engineers in rework activities
