You'll process FOIA requests for a large federal agency, coordinating searches and applying exemptions. Your core impact is ensuring timely, compliant release of information while negotiating with requesters and stakeholders. You'll use FOIA tracking databases and redaction tools.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Receive, review, and analyze FOIA requests
• Intake requests and prepare FOIA folders
• Draft response letters and correspondence
• Coordinate searches for responsive documents

📋 Requirements

• 3 years experience processing FOIA requests
• Knowledge of FOIA exemptions b(4), b(5), b(6)
• Experience redacting trade secrets and confidential info
• Ability to obtain government security clearance

✨ Nice to Have

• Prior federal government experience
• Experience with FOIA EXPRESS or SecureRelease
• Active security clearance
