💼 About This Role

You'll join the Core Team to engineer the backbone of our payment platform, including transaction ledger, IAM, and payment orchestration. You'll drive technical excellence and cross-team leadership for critical systems. This role requires relocation to our Milan office and involves scaling risk & financial engines.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Engineer core platform domains like Transaction Ledger, IAM, and Payment Orchestration
• Scale risk and financial engines for bank integrations and fraud detection
• Lead cross-team technical analysis and produce high-quality design documentation
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to foster technical excellence

📋 Requirements

• At least 5 years of back-end software engineering experience
• Deep experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Proven track record with microservices and cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and external dependencies

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS services like EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, Kinesis, ElasticSearch
• Familiarity with banking protocols or financial systems
