Description

You will develop highly reliable, real-time software for Starlink's satellite network, optimizing beam planning to provide the best user experience. You'll own the complete lifecycle of your software, from development to deployment and performance analysis, directly impacting global broadband access.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS, engineering, math, or STEM with 5+ years software development experience, or 7+ years without degree
• Development experience in assembly, C, or C++
• Experience with real-time, resource-constrained, high-performance computing
• Knowledge of network topology, numerical optimization, or graph theory
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time software for beam planning on Starlink's satellite network
• Lead architecture, design, and code reviews
• Develop prototypes and experiments to validate design concepts
• Build tools for software development, data analysis, and testing across virtual and hardware environments
