💼 About This Role

You'll lead the procure-to-pay process and manage the accounts payable team at Helsing, a defence AI company. Your core impact will be ensuring efficient, compliant invoice processing and driving digitization and automation initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to shape a key function and work on impactful technology in defence.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead, support, and develop the multi-location Accounts Payable team.
• Own end-to-end incoming invoice workflow ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Implement and configure Helsing's new AP Workflow Management System.
• Plan and execute regular national and international payment runs.
• Deliver all AP closing activities for month-end and year-end.

📋 Requirements

• Substantive experience in an Accounts Payable function with people leadership.
• Deep knowledge of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay process.
• Proficient in ERP systems like SAP, DATEV, or MS Dynamics.
• Fluent in both German and English.

• Hands-on experience with AP automation platforms like Coupa or Concur.
• Working knowledge of VAT legislation including reverse charge.
• Experience in Shared Service Centre operations or finance transformation.
