Description
You will read and interpret technical documents, fabricate and install parts and systems for launch environments, connect sensors, and wire electrical ground support equipment. You'll collaborate with launch engineers to troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance tasks to keep the launch site operational.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 2+ years experience as mechanic, technician, or construction worker
- Experience with power tools and electronic system assembly
- Knowledge of instrumentation (RTDs, thermocouples, strain gages, etc.)
- Ability to work night shift and at heights up to 500 feet
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret planning documents, schematics, drawings, and blueprints
- Fabricate and install parts and systems for launch environments
- Connect and verify pressure transducers, thermocouples, and other sensors
- Wire electrical ground support equipment and electronics racks
- Troubleshoot failures and perform maintenance tasks
