You'll develop electro-mechanical wire harness designs for artificial-gravity human-rated space stations at Vast. Your work will ensure flight qualification through analysis and testing. This role offers the chance to push harness design boundaries for a rapidly growing commercial space company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop electro-mechanical design of flight wire harnesses for space stations.
• Design development and test harnesses for qualification testing.
• Analyze complex electrical architectures and create wiring diagrams.
• Interface with production teams for manufacturability and schedule.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or other engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of design-focused experience.
• 2+ years of wire harness 3D design, wiring diagrams, and formboard creation.
• Experience with IPC/WHMA-A-620 or NASA-STD-8739.4.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Wire harness component selection and qualification.
• Aerospace or space industry experience.
