You will design and implement network infrastructure and applications at Rocket Lab, ensuring compliance with policies, improving reliability, and supporting global teams in a fast-paced space technology environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years IT experience with bachelor's or 9+ years total
• 2+ years in a network-focused role
• Hands-on with networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
• In-depth knowledge of Fortinet/Cisco/Juniper, SD-WAN, BGP, VLAN, or EVPN-VXLAN
• Experience with Linux/Windows system administration

Responsibilities

• Champion IT Network Infrastructure Standards for compliance, automation, and reliability
• Lead upgrades, maintenance, and deployment of network infrastructure
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and effective support
• Provide clear reporting on usage, uptime, and support levels
• Deliver subject matter expertise on infrastructure supporting engineers
