💼 About This Role

You'll design and implement algorithms to improve routing and pick-up/drop-off points for autonomous ride-hail at Waymo. You'll analyze large fleet datasets to develop new metrics and guide product direction. This role offers the chance to work on real-world Level 4 autonomy.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement algorithms for pick-up/drop-off point selection.
• Enhance simulation infrastructure to measure impact of changes.
• Analyze fleet data to identify opportunities and new metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for cohesive user experience.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years developing and deploying ML models in production.
• Strong proficiency in C++.
• Experience with large datasets using SQL/Plx.

✨ Nice to Have

• Master's or PhD in CS, ML, or related field.
• Experience with ranking and recommendation systems.
• Experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or geospatial systems.
