💼 About This Role

You'll join an industrial engineering team designing and optimizing electrical control systems for heavy material handling equipment and overhead lifting applications. Your work will directly improve system reliability and performance through PLC/HMI programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting. This role offers hands-on work in a fast-paced automation environment with a path to permanent employment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design electrical control systems for overhead cranes and lifting equipment
• Develop PLC programs, HMI interfaces, and control logic
• Support installation, startup, and commissioning of control systems
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and control system issues

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of controls engineering experience with crane systems or heavy industrial equipment
• Strong background in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with crane automation features such as anti-sway or load monitoring
• Background in system commissioning and industrial integration projects
• Ability to work in industrial environments including elevated areas
