Description

You will design, build, and maintain advanced manufacturing facilities systems, ensuring zero unplanned interruptions by performing HVAC repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with engineers and internal customers to support SpaceX's mission of enabling human life on Mars.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years professional experience with HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical systems
• Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Comfortable working in extreme outdoor environments and high-stress setting

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC systems including air handlers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and filters
• Perform ductwork modifications, brazing, soldering, and refrigerant charging
• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and drainage systems according to specifications
• Read and interpret schematics for assembly, repair, and reassembly
• Operate forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack, boom lift, and overhead crane
