Join the team responsible for building and evolving Legion's high-performance, data-driven Java enterprise application that implements sophisticated scheduling and optimization algorithms. You will design scalable features for the Time Attendance engine, own quality with comprehensive testing, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally in a hybrid environment.

Requirements

• 5-10+ years professional software development with deep expertise in Java
• Proficiency with AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) in daily work
• Strong command of Spring Boot, REST API design, Hibernate/JPA, and relational databases
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance features for Time Attendance engine
• Leverage AI tooling daily for code generation, testing, debugging, and code review
• Own quality by writing unit tests, integration tests, and collaborating on automated test suites
• Drive technical decisions in architecture discussions and document trade-offs
• Mentor junior engineers, give substantive code reviews, and model best practices
