You'll own and maintain a fleet of custom-built data collection systems for Zipline's autonomous aircraft, working hands-on with mechanical, electrical, and sensor hardware. Your work directly enables perception and autonomy development by ensuring mission-critical data capture in diverse environments. This role offers real-world impact in a fast-paced robotics scale-up.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Maintain and improve a fleet of airborne data collection systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, sensor, and networking issues.
• Support flight test data collection and troubleshoot in real time.
• Design, assemble, and integrate custom test platforms with sensors.

📋 Requirements

• 2–5+ years of hands-on hardware integration or technician experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with system integration and fabrication.
• Solid electronics fundamentals: harnessing, crimping, soldering.
• Comfort with Linux, firmware flashing, and basic networking.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with drones or airborne systems.
• Familiarity with perception sensors (cameras, LiDAR, radar).
• CAD experience (NX, SolidWorks, Fusion 360) or FAA Part 107.
