💼 About This Role

You'll own the rebuild of Close's internal systems around AI, rethinking data pipelines, GTM tooling, and business logic for a $50 million bootstrapped company. You'll define how a fast-moving B2B SaaS operates in the age of AI, with direct visibility to founders. This is a greenfield opportunity to build tools like lead scoring models, Slack bots, and automated business reviews.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build AI-powered internal tools from scratch (lead scoring, Slack bots, agents).
• Ship automation that gets used by Sales and Marketing teams.
• Integrate across GTM stack (Segment, Customer.io, Close, data warehouse).
• Build experimentation and growth infrastructure for scaling acquisition.

📋 Requirements

• Full-stack engineering: Python backend, TypeScript or JS frontend.
• Experience with AI tools and using them to compound leverage.
• Understanding of GTM workflows (lead scoring, attribution, business operations).
• Ability to build trust across the organization quickly.
