You will build and own the full people function at a fast-growing AI startup, designing and executing a people strategy that supports a high-performing, inclusive workforce. This role is ideal for a strategic and hands-on HR leader who thrives in startup environments.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years progressive HR experience, 3+ at Director level in high-growth SaaS/startup
  • Proven ability to build and scale HR programs from ground up
  • Broad HR generalist expertise across talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and compliance
  • Deep knowledge of employment law and compliance, especially in New York
  • Strong business acumen and exceptional communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve people strategy across full employee lifecycle
  • Lead talent acquisition for technical, GTM, and operational roles
  • Design onboarding programs that reinforce culture
  • Build performance management frameworks including goal-setting and review cycles
  • Develop competitive compensation and benefits programs
