Description

You will build and extend Affirm's enterprise identity platform, designing backend services and automation frameworks that integrate with SailPoint and Auth0. You'll develop AI-assisted workflows to automate IAM changes, create CI/CD pipelines, and partner with security and engineering teams to define the long-term identity architecture. Expect to work on event-driven automation, reusable frameworks, and human-in-the-loop systems that make identity management scalable and intelligent.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience
• Strong production experience in Python or similar backend language
• Experience designing APIs, automation frameworks, and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to pass a backend software engineering interview and contribute production-quality code

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve SailPoint/Auth0 identity platforms with workflows and governance controls
• Design backend services and automation frameworks extending SailPoint/Auth0 capabilities
• Develop AI-assisted workflows interpreting Jira tickets to generate safe IAM changes
• Build human-in-the-loop automation for provisioning, role modeling, and privileged access management
• Integrate with AWS services and enterprise systems using secure, scalable APIs
