💼 About This Role

You'll lead the growth of the Databricks Unified Analytics Platform for public sector clients, building trusted advisor relationships and guiding implementations. You will partner with sales teams, design big data architectures, and promote Databricks open-source projects at conferences.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Partner with sales team to help customers adopt Databricks
• Design architectures and implement proof of concepts for strategic projects
• Build reference architectures and demo applications
• Promote Databricks open-source projects at meetups and conferences

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems
• Proficiency in at least one of: Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R
• Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

✨ Nice to Have

• Degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research)
• Experience with Data Engineering technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
• Experience with Data Warehousing (SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS)
