Description

You will improve the reliability, availability, and performance of Nexamp's operating solar PV and BESS portfolio using advanced electrical engineering analysis. You'll perform root-cause failure analysis, optimize protection and control schemes, and drive data-backed recommendations to reduce downtime and extend asset life in a hybrid role.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Deep technical expertise in power systems and protection
• Experience with inverters, relays, and plant controllers
• Strong analytical and root-cause analysis skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, asset management, and OEMs

Responsibilities

• Own plant protection, controls, and compliance strategy
• Engage with utilities on grid-interaction issues
• Improve system reliability by optimizing protection schemes and inverter control functions
• Lead data-driven reliability and loss reduction efforts
• Develop analytical models and diagnostic frameworks for PV and BESS fleet
