💼 About This Role

You'll establish and lead the finance function at Northwood, a satellite communications startup transforming space connectivity. You'll act as a trusted advisor to leadership, driving financial strategy, stakeholder management, and process optimization to support rapid growth. This role offers a unique chance to build a best-in-class finance function from the ground up.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and implement financial strategy including budgeting and forecasting
• Lead preparation of accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage relationships with external auditors and support investor relations
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, and liquidity management

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 10-15+ years of experience in finance or accounting
• 3+ years in a leadership role in a startup or high-growth environment
• Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in manufacturing, technology, or aerospace industries
• Experience with fundraising, venture capital, and investor relations
• CPA preferred
