💼 About This Role

You'll operate advanced uncrewed air systems for a defense technology company, supporting autonomy and AI-powered military capabilities. Your work directly impacts fielded products in a fast-paced environment. BVLOS and Specific Category operations will push boundaries.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Plan, prepare, and execute UAS missions including VLOS and BVLOS scenarios.
• Act as Safety Pilot for fixed wing and FW VTOL UAS operations.
• Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks and diagnostics.
• Develop and implement mission-specific risk assessments using MIL-STD-882E.

📋 Requirements

• Valid Part 61 and Part 107 pilot license.
• Significant experience in manual UAS or RC aircraft operations on FW and FW VTOL.
• Expert-level proficiency with Pixhawk and Cube Orange Flight Controllers.
• Thorough understanding of FAA Part 107 and Operational Safety Cases.

✨ Nice to Have

• Instrument and Commercial Rating.
• 5+ years of developmental test experience.
• Experience with Fixed Wing VTOL UAS Operations.
