You'll architect and scale backend systems for Drivetrain's financial planning platform, working with a team of ex-Googlers in a remote-first culture. You'll optimize compute-intensive data processing and integrate with distributed systems to deliver high-performance analytics. This role offers autonomy and the chance to shape the tech stack from the ground up.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect and scale complex backend systems for efficiency and durability
• Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and resource allocation
• Design methodologies to manage high concurrency and large data volumes
• Collaborate with engineering and product to translate requirements into scalable architectures

📋 Requirements

• 5-8 years experience in backend development with Java, Python, or Go
• Proven experience scaling compute-intensive applications processing large data volumes
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, data structures, and system design
• Proficiency with database technologies including Redis, PostgreSQL, and distributed systems

• Experience building or maintaining extensive API integration frameworks
