Description

You will fabricate, weld, and assemble subassemblies for Starship using advanced manufacturing equipment. You'll read technical drawings, perform maintenance, and ensure quality through precision tools. Your work directly contributes to enabling human life on Mars.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 1+ years experience in hardware assembly, test, maintenance, material handling, and/or installation OR certificate from accredited trade skills program
• 1+ years experience with TIG welding in manufacturing or completion certificate within last 2 years
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirement)

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, weld, and assemble subassemblies for Starship
• Operate advanced manufacturing equipment such as robots, spot welders, hand-held laser welders, automated welders, seam welders, and press brakes
• Perform routine maintenance on tooling and equipment
• Read and interpret technical drawings and follow work instructions
• Perform blending, filing, fit-up of sheet metal parts; load/unload parts using cranes and forklifts
