💼 About This Role

You'll lead civil/site design projects for a 100% employee-owned engineering firm, working on diverse sites from renewable energy to municipal infrastructure. You'll mentor junior engineers and build authentic client relationships through a seller-doer approach. This hybrid role offers ownership in every project you deliver.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead site design projects including grading, roadway, and utility design
• Manage project development from preliminary design through construction
• Mentor and coach less experienced engineering professionals
• Collaborate with Market Managers to develop client relationships

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer license in Illinois or Minnesota
• 10+ years of progressive site design experience
• 5+ years of project management experience

• Active PE registration in multiple states (MN, IL, WI, SD, IA)
• Site design experience for private commercial/industrial developers
• Site design experience for renewable energy (solar/wind) facilities
