Description

You will own end-to-end inorganic growth initiatives, from sourcing and evaluating opportunities to negotiating terms and assisting with post-close integration, driving the full M&A lifecycle and collaborating with the Head of M&A. This hybrid role based in NYC offers flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–6 years in corporate development, investment banking, and/or private equity
  • Demonstrated end-to-end exposure to M&A processes (modeling, diligence, negotiation, and closing)
  • Strong document familiarity (NDAs, LOIs, SPAs) and term mechanics (earnouts, RWI, escrows)
  • High-impact communication skills and executive presence
  • Industry competence in tech-enabled services, professional services, or human capital services preferred

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a prioritized funnel of targets aligned to strategic themes
  • Lead commercial, financial, and operational assessments; structure scenarios and sensitivities
  • Build robust three-statement, DCF, trading/transaction comps, and LBO-style models
  • Run cross-functional diligence workstreams and manage data room
  • Draft and iterate key documents (NDAs, LOIs, term sheets, purchase agreements)
  • Serve as DRI for Day-1/100 integration plans and value-capture workplans
  • Prepare investment memos, IC materials, board updates, and post-close readouts
  • Maintain live view of sector dynamics and refresh build/partner/buy perspectives
