Description

You will work to safeguard Okta from threats by building data and infrastructure platforms for security detection and response. You'll collaborate with security, engineering, and product teams to implement automated, scalable security solutions for the public sector.

Requirements

• 8+ years coding/scripting experience with focus on automation and tooling
• Proficiency in Python required; Bash, PowerShell, Go a plus
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines for security data
• Experience with security team collaboration for log source integration
• 2+ years in regulated environments (FedRAMP, IL4/5/6) preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as security SME for solution engineering and architecture reviews
• Lead evaluation and implementation of enterprise security systems
• Build and maintain custom automation and cloud infrastructure using Terraform
• Develop integrations with APIs and cloud platforms for detection and response
• Establish monitoring and alerting for security posture across endpoints and cloud workloads
