As a Food Safety Associate at CookUnity, you'll ensure a safe and compliant kitchen environment by monitoring food production, performing critical checks, and collaborating with teams to uphold food safety regulations. Your work will help maintain the highest standards of quality and safety across our commissary.

Requirements

• Experience in a high-compliance food processing facility (USDA, FDA)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and professional demeanor
• Proficiency in G Suite/Google Workspace
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor food production and ensure adherence to food safety regulations
• Perform critical checks including refrigeration, chemical concentration, and temperature
• Communicate kitchen rules (gloves, hairnets, hand washing, cleaning, sanitizing) to chefs
• Ensure proper labeling of items in coolers and freezers
• Conduct daily facility compliance walks and corrective actions
