You will oversee facilities management for a regional portfolio of life science research buildings, ensuring equipment and building systems are maintained, managing projects and vendors, supervising a team, and collaborating with property management to support tenant operations.
Requirements
- BA/BS in engineering, architecture, facilities management or related field
- 10+ years progressive facilities management, construction, or design experience
- Experience in life science or laboratory facilities properties
- Technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
- Proven ability to hire, train, manage, and lead teams
Responsibilities
- Assess property condition and implement preventive maintenance programs
- Manage contractors and service providers for building and equipment maintenance
- Scope and oversee facilities projects, secure bids, and manage budgets
- Collaborate with property management to support tenant operations
- Lead coordination of utility shutdowns and emergency responses
