Description

You will prospect and close deals with local merchants in categories like beauty, wellness, travel, dining, fitness, and services, driving marketplace growth for Groupon. You'll manage a high volume of leads using cold calls, emails, and CRM tools to build a strong pipeline and onboard quality partners.

Requirements

  • 0-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles
  • Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with business owners by phone or in person
  • Willingness to learn structured sales processes and receive continuous feedback
  • Understanding of KPIs, goals, and performance expectations
  • Ability to manage high workload in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Identify and proactively contact potential local merchants via outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups
  • Qualify merchant needs and assess deal fit using established sales criteria
  • Present Groupon's value proposition to small business owners
  • Close standard deals independently using pricing and offer frameworks
  • Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and forecast tracking in Salesforce
