Description
You will prospect and close deals with local merchants in categories like beauty, wellness, travel, dining, fitness, and services, driving marketplace growth for Groupon. You'll manage a high volume of leads using cold calls, emails, and CRM tools to build a strong pipeline and onboard quality partners.
Requirements
- 0-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with business owners by phone or in person
- Willingness to learn structured sales processes and receive continuous feedback
- Understanding of KPIs, goals, and performance expectations
- Ability to manage high workload in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Identify and proactively contact potential local merchants via outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups
- Qualify merchant needs and assess deal fit using established sales criteria
- Present Groupon's value proposition to small business owners
- Close standard deals independently using pricing and offer frameworks
- Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and forecast tracking in Salesforce
