💼 About This Role

You'll lead the design of high voltage electrical infrastructure for industrial substations at a battery recycling company. Your work will directly enable domestic production of battery materials from recycled sources. This role offers the chance to build the circular economy for lithium-ion batteries.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead high voltage AC electrical system design for industrial substations (69kV-345kV)
• Perform grid simulation and stability studies using PSSE, PSLF, PSCAD
• Develop single-line diagrams, protection and control systems, and grounding plans
• Serve as Electrical Engineer of Record and manage design packages through commissioning

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited program
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Nevada or eligible for reciprocity within 2 months
• 10+ years of high voltage electrical design experience in EPC environments
• Proficiency in PSSE, PSLF, PSCAD, ASPEN OneLiner and similar tools

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with HVDC systems and converter station design
• Field experience in construction and commissioning of high voltage systems
