💼 About This Role

You'll build API-based platforms and core infrastructure for Arena Intelligence, the gold standard for evaluating AI models. You'll own systems that turn research advantage into enterprise products, working directly with founders and early customers. This is a founding role on the developer/enterprise team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build low-latency, high-reliability APIs for leaderboards, models, and arenas
• Handle SSE/streaming responses across heterogeneous providers
• Ship enterprise-grade infrastructure including rate limiting, auth, and audit logging
• Build deep observability with distributed tracing and real-time dashboards

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience with distributed systems
• Strong proficiency in Go or Rust
• Experience with LLM provider APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Solid cloud infrastructure skills with AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Postgres, and Redis

• Experience building API gateways or proxies (Kong, Envoy, etc.)
• Background in ML infrastructure or model serving
• Experience with enterprise features like SSO, RBAC, audit logs
