Description

You will create process plans and standard operating procedures for CNC machined components, improve manufacturing through new technologies, advise on design for manufacturability, and resolve non-conformances for Terran R rocket hardware. Your work directly supports flight-critical parts in a cutting-edge aerospace environment.

Requirements

• B.S. in Engineering or comparable STEM field
• 3+ years of experience in machining
• Knowledge of GD&T

Responsibilities

• Create process plans, SOPs, inspection plans, and work holding designs
• Improve manufacturing processes via new technologies and methodologies
• Advise on design for manufacturability to upstream engineering partners
• Articulate manufacturing, fixturing, and inspection methods for design concepts
• Analyze and resolve non-conforming hardware through root cause investigation
