💼 About This Role

You'll design Northwood's first supplier quality management system and build a world-class quality culture from the ground up. You'll partner with engineering and operations to scale manufacturing excellence across the global supply chain for space communications technologies.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and launch Northwood's first supplier quality management system
• Qualify and develop suppliers for RF, PCBA, mechanical, and electromechanical components
• Lead audits, performance reviews, and corrective actions across the supply network
• Partner with engineering on DFM, NPI, and pilot builds for production readiness
• Define and track supplier KPIs with real-time visibility tools

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years in Supplier Quality, Supplier Development, or Manufacturing Quality roles
• Experience with quality standards and tools ISO 9001, AS9100, PPAP
• Track record of building or scaling quality systems in low-to-medium volume, high-complexity environments

• Background in aerospace, satellite, telecommunications, or defense industries
• Experience with RF, PCBA, custom enclosures, or electromechanical assemblies
• Familiarity with ERP, PLM, or digital quality management systems
