Description

You will lead Okta's cybersecurity legal team, providing legal guidance on cybersecurity and privacy issues, drafting and negotiating security exhibits and data processing agreements, and supporting security incident investigations. This role helps Okta deliver secure identity solutions to global customers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant law firm and/or in-house experience
• At least 2 years working on cybersecurity and privacy transactional matters
• Familiarity with fast-paced enterprise software company and SaaS products
• Excellent written and verbal communication, drafting, and negotiation skills
• Sound legal and business judgment and ability to build strong relationships

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of cybersecurity legal professionals and provide legal expertise to executives and stakeholders
• Advise, draft, and negotiate cybersecurity and privacy terms in commercial agreements
• Provide legal support on security and privacy compliance with laws and regulations
• Support investigation of security and privacy incidents and guide mitigation efforts
• Develop and maintain standards and processes for cybersecurity and privacy issues in Go-to-Market transactions
