💼 About This Role

You'll build high-reliability satellite hardware for Astranis as we expand manufacturing capabilities. You'll work with engineering and production teams to solve complex quality challenges and ensure hardware meets rigorous spaceflight standards. This role offers a chance to impact a growing satellite company with over $1B in contracts.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform nonconformance resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design engineering on part drawing standards and GD&T.
• Write and maintain QMS documentation for hardware build and test.
• Monitor product yield and in-process inspection results for trends.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering.
• 6+ years in quality or manufacturing engineering role.
• Experience with inspection techniques, electronics troubleshooting, and GD&T.
• Basic proficiency in Python or SQL for data analysis.

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledgeable in spaceflight hardware design and standards.
• Experience leading production containments for supplier/manufacturing defects.
• Strong SQL and Python skills with dashboard creation.
