💼 About This Role

You'll design and scale the systems that drive Sentient's internal and community-facing products. You'll architect and maintain large-scale distributed systems, APIs, and data pipelines while collaborating with research, product, and operations to bring new capabilities to production.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end development lifecycle for new platform capabilities
• Design, build, and operate services, APIs, and data pipelines
• Collaborate with product, research, operations, and external partners
• Design dashboard for portfolio performance, NAV, PnL, and risk metrics

📋 Requirements

• 3-5+ years of professional engineering experience in relevant roles
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust or similar backend languages
• Experience building infrastructure for high-throughput systems
• Strong product sense with ability to scope solutions from loosely defined problems

✨ Nice to Have

• Former founder or early engineer at a startup
• Interest in AI
• Fluent with AI coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor
