Description

You will develop ML/AI models for energy forecasting, analyze electrical systems for decarbonization, and conduct technical due diligence on low-carbon projects. You'll contribute to client engagements and internal analyses, translating complex engineering into actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Expertise in electric power industry and wholesale electricity markets
• Proficiency in AC/DC power flow models and production-cost models (PROMOD, Plexos, AURORA)
• Proficiency in statistical modeling and data analysis (Python, R, MATLAB)
• Experience deploying machine learning models in production

Responsibilities

• Develop and operationalize ML/AI models for load, generation, and price forecasting
• Design and analyze electrical systems for electrification and grid integration
• Contribute to transmission and resource planning with production cost modeling
• Conduct technical due diligence on electrical infrastructure and energy storage projects
• Translate engineering analyses into actionable recommendations for stakeholders
